Named as one of the top 10 ‘Best Cities in the World’ in 2019 by the Time Out Magazine, Glasgow is getting ready to welcome the EYBA thanks to the association’s new member – Scottish Young Lawyers’ Association.
The Scottish Young Lawyers’ Association will host the European Young Bar Association’s Spring Conference in Glasgow between 23 and 26 April 2020.
The topics for this year’s conference are technology and the environment. They will be considered both as areas of the law and as issue effecting the practice of young lawyers.
The conference will begin with a welcome reception on the Thursday evening.
Seminars will begin on Friday morning before a short visit to Edinburgh in the afternoon. A traditional Scottish ceilidh will take place at the University of Glasgow on the Friday evening.
Further seminars will take place on Saturday morning before the General Meeting of the EYBA.
The conference will conclude with a black tie gala dinner and dance at the Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum on Saturday night.
