BELFAST AUTUMN CONFERENCE 2025

What an incredible conference in Belfast!

From 2–5 October 2025, the European Young Bar Association (EYBA) gathered in the vibrant city of Belfast for our very first Autumn Conference 2025.

Friday’s main event, hosted at the beautiful Queen’s University Belfast, was packed with energy, ideas, and inspiration 💡 — featuring brilliant speakers who explored some of the most pressing issues shaping our profession today, including human rights, media law, AI, climate change, and the evolving role of lawyers in society.

A huge thank you to all our fantastic speakers Naomi Long, Colin Mitchell, Dr. Michael Griem, Darragh Mackin, Keith McGarry, Paul Tweed, Stephanie Johnston, Maria O’Loan, Donna O’Leary, Julie-Ann McCaffrey, Jude Copeland, Maria McCloskey, Henry Nelson-Case, Shannon Gawley, Emma Falloon for sharing their expertise and insights.

A huge thank you to the Northern Ireland Young Solicitors Association (NIYSA) for their outstanding organisation and warm hospitality — and to all our participants for making this conference such a success!

The discussions, insights, and new connections made in Belfast remind us why EYBA exists: to unite young lawyers across Europe and beyond, and shape the future of our profession together.
