The EYBA Research
Committee

The EYBA Research Committee plays a vital role in advancing the Association’s educational and strategic initiatives. Working in close collaboration with the EYBA Board, the Committee actively supports the organization of online webinars and knowledge-sharing events tailored to the evolving needs of young legal professionals.
In addition to curating high-quality content, the Committee helps identify new professional development opportunities for our members, fostering continuous learning and cross-border collaboration. It also contributes to the expansion of EYBA’s partnerships with international legal organizations and academic institutions, strengthening our global network and enhancing the visibility of young lawyers across Europe and beyond.
Through its work, the Research Committee ensures that EYBA remains a dynamic platform for legal innovation, dialogue, and growth.

Amsterdam Young Bar Association

Louise van de Pol

Louise is a Dutch lawyer, who focuses on complex litigation, including class actions.
She has gained legal experience across multiple jurisdictions, including the United States and Australia. During her traineeship at the European Parliament’s Digital Policies Research Unit, she developed strong expertise in research, producing analysis relevant to the work of Members of Parliament.

Nélitié Zingoua Kouadio

Luxembourg Young Bar Association

Nélitié is a Luxembourg lawyer (Avocat à la Cour) in independent practice, focusing on business litigation, Corporate M&A and Alternative Investment Fund schemes, with a keen interest in the technology and fintech sector, particularly blockchain and payments, and the legal questions digital assets raise in Luxembourg and in Africa. She brings a solid finance foundation from a leading French investment bank, the Luxembourg Stock Exchange and PwC Luxembourg. She sits on the Board of the AIEI International Association (AI Ethics and Integrity), contributes to the GAMS Standards Initiative and to the reform of Luxembourg’s law of obligations (RGO), and is closely involved in the Luxembourg and Kenyan fintech community. Within the Research Committee, she finds what she loves most: turning ideas into concrete work, together with a like-minded team.

Turin Bar Association

Elena Rosazza Gianin

Elena is an Italian civil lawyer.
After starting her career in Milan in Fintech and innovative start-ups, she continued her practice in Turin, where she assists companies in both judicial and extrajudicial matters. She has since gained specific experience in the areas of construction and automotive.
Since 2023, she is a member of the Youth Commission of the Turin Bar Association, where she addresses the key issues most relevant to professionals in their first years of practice. She’s naturally drawn to international and dynamic settings, which motivated her to participate with enthusiasm and passion in the activities of the EYBA.

Gamze Güven

Gamze Güven is an attorney at the Istanbul Bar, Association, currently focusing on Human Rights, Migration Law, IT Law, and with a strong interest in International Law. She has experience in litigation and legal consultancy, and is a member of the Human Rights Center, Personal Data Protection Commission, and IT Law Commission at the Istanbul Bar Association.

Mathijs van Riet

Mathijs is a registered lawyer at the Bars of The Hague – The Netherlands and Lille – France. Mathijs specialises in international commercial and corporate disputes and contracts. In addition, Mathijs has been a board member of the Amsterdam Young Bar and the president of the Dutch Young Bar. In the Executive Commission of the EYBA, Mathijs holds the position of President.

Daniela Fernandes Martins

Daniela Fernandes Martins is a lawyer a portuguese lawyer, graduated from ISMAT – Lusófona University, with a postgraduate degree in Law of Minors, Family and Successions from the CIDP – University of Lisbon. She practises in the areas of civil law, intellectual property, real estate law and  contracts,  advising national and international clients with technical rigour and clear legal communication.

She maintains a strong commitment to defending the values of the profession and to fostering international cooperation among colleagues, promoting better opportunities for future generations of lawyers within the context of European young advocacy.
