The European Young Bar Association held its Annual General Meeting last Saturday, a key moment in the organisation’s yearly calendar and a cornerstone of its democratic life. The AGM not only brings together young lawyers from across Europe to review the Association’s work and strategic direction, but also marks the occasion on which the new Board is elected. This year’s meeting was particularly significant, setting the course for EYBA’s activities and priorities for the 2026/2027 term.
We are delighted to announce the newly elected EYBA Board, entrusted with leading the Association for the upcoming year. Their election reflects the confidence of EYBA’s members in a team committed to strengthening cross‑border cooperation, promoting the interests of young lawyers, and enhancing EYBA’s presence within the European legal landscape.

The AGM also marked the conclusion of Chiara Palombi’s term as President of EYBA. Her leadership over the past year has been instrumental in strengthening the Association’s institutional presence, expanding its network, and promoting initiatives that support young lawyers across Europe.
Chiara’s dedication, clarity of purpose and ability to unite colleagues from diverse jurisdictions have left a meaningful and lasting impact. Her contribution to EYBA’s mission has been invaluable, and it has been an honour to witness the positive change she has inspired.
