The CCBE
Committe

The European Young Bar Association (EYBA) maintains an active presence within the Council of Bars and Law Societies of Europe (CCBE), the representative body of European lawyers through their national bar associations and law societies. EYBA’s participation in the CCBE ensures that the voice of young legal professionals is heard in key discussions shaping the future of the legal profession across Europe. Through its designated representatives—including both current and past EYBA Presidents—EYBA contributes to:

  • Monitoring developments in European legal policy and professional standards
  • Engaging with CCBE committees and working groups relevant to young lawyers
  • Promoting initiatives that support legal education, cross-border collaboration, and
  • professional mobility
  • Advocating for the interests and concerns of emerging legal professionals

This collaboration strengthens EYBA’s commitment to representing young lawyers at the highest levels of European legal governance and policy-making.
