The EYBA Spring Conference in Faro brought together young lawyers from across Europe for three days of professional development, international dialogue and meaningful networking. The programme combined academic sessions, institutional visits and social moments designed to strengthen cooperation within the European legal community.
The event opened with a Welcome Reception in Faro’s historic centre, offering participants the first opportunity to connect in an informal and warm atmosphere. This was followed by a day of scientific panels and workshops, addressing key topics for young practitioners, including European young advocacy, cross‑border legal challenges, digital transformation in the profession and the evolving role of lawyers in a globalised context.
Participants also enjoyed a guided cultural experience, showcasing the unique heritage of the Algarve and reinforcing the importance of intercultural exchange within EYBA’s mission.
The highlight of the conference was the Gala Dinner at the Palácio de Estoi, an unforgettable evening marked by meaningful networking, genuine connections and a vibrant atmosphere that transformed professional encounters into lasting friendships. Moments like these truly embody the spirit of EYBA — creating a space where young lawyers from across Europe and beyond can collaborate, exchange perspectives and inspire one another.
A sincere thank you is owed to the Organising Committee, whose dedication and professionalism ensured a memorable and impactful event. The EYBA also expresses its deep appreciation to the Conselho Geral da Ordem dos Advogados and to the Conselho Regional da Ordem dos Advogados de Faro for their institutional support, collaboration and commitment to strengthening the role of young lawyers within the profession. Their contribution was essential to the success and visibility of the Spring Conference, reinforcing the values of European young advocacy and the importance of international cooperation within the legal community.
